Nimbus Search Partners (www.NimbusSearchPartners.com) a boutique executive search firm has been retained to help Identify a “HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGER” for its client, a fast growing Clinical Stage, Global Biopharmaceutical company based in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Our Client is a fast growing Global Clinical Stage Biotechnology Company, which is in the process of expanding its operations in its US headquarters.
The company continues on a rapid trajectory of growth, as a part of the expansion efforts the company is to looking to identify a highly capable Human Resource Manager to add to the leadership team who will help lead and manage the company’s Human Resource Function.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, The Human Resource Manager is responsible for management, leadership and guidance of the Human Resource function for this fast paced, growth-oriented company. This includes, employment, employee relations, benefits, EEO, Performance Management, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Affirmative Action, Training, and professional development. The HR Manager will be responsible for the administration of performance reviews and compensation program across the company ensuring effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization. The HR Manager will need to stay current with employment laws and trends; As positions are filled, plan and conduct new employee onboarding and orientation
Ø Relevant experience across the Employee Life Cycle leading Human Resources
Ø Experience with developing and implementing HR policy and procedures
Ø Highly motivated, problem solving and detail oriented with the ability to communicate effectively, negotiate salary, solve problems and create trusting relationships with staff
Ø Must possess the ability to prioritize and work assignments to completion.
Ø Excellent interpersonal skills to include well developed analytical, communication, and presentations skills.
Ø Experienced with Applicant tracking systems
Ø Experience utilizing social media as a recruiting tool
Ø Experience with HR compliance reporting; EEO-1, VETS 100, OSHA 300a and Affirmative Action
Ø Experience with developing and implementing corporate HR policy and procedures
Ø PHR or SPHR Certification preferred.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Ø · Bachelors degree in human resource management or (or related field)
Ø · 7 years’ of overall experience in Human Resources, 5 years as an HR manager
